We are pleased to announce that Douglas County, Nebraska, has been awarded the 2023 three+one® Pioneer Award. Douglas County has the distinction of being the very first county in the nation to put our cashVest® liquidity platform to work.

In 2018, three+one entered an exclusive partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo). Taking the first step on the road to becoming a national platform, we looked for a county to be a pioneer in implementing the cashVest platform’s cutting-edge data and liquidity-analysis services.

Douglas County jumped in with both feet, and the venture paid off very well for them. Since inception, the county earned $6.5 million in additional interest. Quite a milestone!

Over the past five years, counties across the United States have put our innovative platform to the test, resulting in over $1.5 billion in new revenue and savings—monies that went right back to their communities. Best of all, these were new sources of revenue and savings that would never have otherwise been realized.

As described by Mary Ann Borgeson, Douglas County Commissioner, “These are new sources of revenue that help counties throughout the country pay for new services or help counties offset budget gaps due to inflation or other unforeseen circumstances.”

Our heartiest congratulations to Douglas County for leading the way!
