April is National County Government Month (#NCGM), a time to spotlight the vital work our county governments do, from justice administration and infrastructure maintenance to public health and elections.

This year, National Association of Counties President and Ramsey County, MN Commissioner Mary Jo McGuire champions the theme “ForwardTogether,” emphasizing connection, inspiration, and leadership as the foundation of trusted, solution-oriented county government.

Commissioner McGuire inspires us with a vision for the future:

“As county leaders, we’re uniquely positioned to achieve remarkable things. Together, we can fulfill our collective potential and lead our communities forward.”

“ForwardTogether” stands on three pillars:

  1. Building connections and peer support
  2. Encouraging community participation
  3. Fostering partnerships across government levels

At three+one, we salute the unwavering commitment of county officials and staff who work tirelessly to ensure their communities thrive.
