As we conclude National County Government Month, we celebrate the remarkable leadership of Allegheny County Treasurer Erica Rocchi Brusselars. Since taking office in January 2024, Treasurer Brusselars has prioritized transparency, modernization, and collaboration in order to provide the best possible service to the residents and taxpayers of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Treasurer Brusselars is unafraid to embrace new ideas and technologies that strengthen her office’s ability to serve the community. Her forward-thinking mindset led to the adoption of tools like cashVest by three+one, providing data-driven insights that enhance the management of taxpayer dollars. By leveraging modern solutions, she is maximizing the impact of public funds while fostering greater internal collaboration and transparency.
Beyond her office, Treasurer Brusselars is highly accessible and engaged. Under her leadership, the office has recently launched satellite offices across the county in order to bring government directly to several communities. She serves as the 1st Vice-President for the County Treasurers’ Association of Pennsylvania, and is the President of the Retirement Board of Allegheny County. Her commitment to continuous learning reflects a deep dedication to ensuring Allegheny County remains on the leading edge of financial stewardship.
